• Educational Data: Class schedules, attendance records, homework assignments, and teacher remarks.
• Device Information: We may collect non-identifiable device data (such as OS version and device type) to improve app performance.

Your information is used strictly for educational and administrative purposes within your registered school entity:

• To authenticate user access via Google OAuth.
• To display personalized dashboards, attendance records, and timetables.
• To facilitate communication between teachers, students, and parents via remarks and assignments.
• To allow school administrators to monitor live classes and generate reports.

4. Data Storage and Security

We prioritize the security of your data. All user and school data is securely stored using Google Workspace integrations (Google Sheets API) and secure backend databases. We implement standard security measures, including HTTPS encryption and CSRF protection, to prevent unauthorized access.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Information is only shared within the context of your specific school organization (e.g., parents viewing their child's records, or administrators viewing teacher logs). We may share data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Permissions Required

To fully utilize the Simplora app on mobile devices, we may request the following permissions:

• Camera: Required for teachers to scan QR codes for attendance and class session management.
• Notifications: (Optional) For sending relevant updates regarding assignments or attendance.

7. Children's Privacy

Simplora is an educational tool. We only collect information from students that is authorized by the school administration and parents. Parents have the right to review the information collected about their child through the Parent Portal.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact your school administrator first, as they manage the primary data records within the Simplora system.
